Published

on

The future belongs to those who prepare for it today, Malcolm said.

On a happy note to follow the 2019 Headies award presently holding at Eko Convention Center ,Victoria Island Lagos,  the 13th Annual  award Tagged “THE POWER OF DREAM” and 2019 Wizkid Biggest show.

SEE FULL LIST OF HEADIES 2019 AWARD WINNERS

The known and popular artistes are topping the awards, which is known to be justified so far.

Surprisingly, this same day is also the slated date of a popular international artiste’s biggest show, in person of Wizkid, at United kingdom. Obviously, it clashes with the 2019 Headies award and led to other popular celebrities to attend one and forfeited the second as they can’t share themselves into two to mark attendance.

Headies award is a annual program that comes up every year with different date, clashing with Wizkid’s show has made fans and lovers to have mixed feeling and confusion of the question, why same day? However, the reason be known is best to be answered by either the organizers of the Headies award or Wizkid.

Nigerian singer, Wizkid, first started recording music aged 11. He came into limelight in 2010 with the release of Holla at Your Boy from his debut studio album, Superstar. His second album, Ayo, then followed in 2014.

International recognition came in 2016 when Wizkid collaborated with Drake on global hit One Dance, reaching No.1 in 15 countries, including the US, the UK, Canada and Australia.

His third album, Sounds from the Other Side was released in 2017.

Wizkid is currently playing his biggest UK shows at the O2 in London and O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

The figured out celebrities present at Wizkid show and absent at the Headies award are Tiwa SavageNaira MarleyReekadoRemaFireboyMaleek BerryBurna Boy and many others. However, these set of celebs are expected to be live at the Headies award but not. Don’t you think something is behind the two clashed show and award?

Its shocking but applaudable alongside for these mentioned celebs to be live at Wizkid show, not minding if they will be awarded at the Headies award, some accolades should be given to Wizkid for gaining these celebs’s trust, regardless of how it was done, if persuaded, brided, or

Following comments on Social media about these Headies award and WIZKID show fest,

“This is where it’s happening.. the 02 arena, where Wizkid carried everybody to…  forget #headies2019″.

“Wizkid become the First African Artist to sell out 02 arena 20,000 Twice in 2 consecutive years. Now he did it in grand style, mad tics price, mad concept. Everything abt this show is phenomenal. I am proud of u boyy”.

“Wizkid really carried the whole industry to O2. I have to admit. That’s some Legendary shit”.

“People are outside looking for tickets to buy! Starboy effect”.

“This Headies is trash, how will the nation’s finest acts not bother being present in its supposed biggest award show???

The atmosphere is so flat, no excitement, no glitz, no glamour just forced accent everywhere.

The star cast for Wizkid’s Fest even looks more exciting!”.
